Right tackle Abe Lucas has agreed to a three-year, $46 million contract extension with the Seattle Seahawks. Lucas, who was entering the final year of his rookie deal, can reportedly earn more money based on incentives.

Sources told NFL Network’s “The #Seahawks and OT Abe Lucas have agreed to terms on a three-year, $46 million extension with the chance to earn more via incentives, sources say. The 2022 third-rounder, who was set to be a free agent, stays with Seattle in a deal done by @Chase_Callahan of @excelfootball.”

Lucas joined the Seahawks as a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He started 29 games through his first three seasons, but missed 10 games last season due to a knee injury. He is listed as starting alongside right guard Anthony Bradford, center Jalen Sundell, left guard Grey Zabel and left tackle Charles Cross on the Seahawks’ depth chart.

The Seahawks will face the San Francisco 49ers for their Week 1 matchup this Sunday in Seattle.
