After nearly a decade between albums, Mike WiLL Made-It has announced his upcoming project, R3SET, is set to arrive March 20.
The name of the album traces back to a pivotal setback nearly nine years ago, when a hard drive containing a significant amount of his work was stolen. In the newly released trailer — which also teases an accompanying documentary — Mike revisits that loss and the difficult stretch that followed. Rather than dwell on it, he frames the experience as the spark that forced him to rebuild from nothing and rethink his artistic direction. Speculation around the album’s guest list is already circulating online, with rumored appearances from names like André 3000, J. Cole, Future, and Pharrell Williams, though those features have yet to be confirmed.
Fueling anticipation is his latest single, “ROOMS,” which pairs YoungBoy Never Broke Again — also known as NBA YoungBoy — with longtime collaborator Chief Keef. While Keef and Mike have previously linked up on multiple occasions, including their 2024 mixtape Dirty Nachos, this release marks the first time YoungBoy and Keef have shared a record together.
Mike WiLL helped shape era-defining records like HUMBLE. by Kendrick Lamar and Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd. His last studio effort, Ransom 2, featured artists including Gucci Mane, Big Sean, 21 Savage, and Migos.
